Draft: Add a place to check in host configurations for testing

Part of #162 (closed). The intent here is to make it easier to get user-contributed host configs, and/or to at least provide some kind of example of what users should be doing continuously on their own (check that it is possible to parse host configurations -- the used script is an example of how).
