What needs to be done for our witness to no longer be considered a prototype? Progress here is currently "best effort". Priority will be revisited after https://git.glasklar.is/groups/sigsum/-/milestones/5#tab-issues is completed.

EDIT 2023-05-10: nobody is working on moving this beyond the prototype stage for now, let's open a new milestone (or reopen) once there are such plans. Filippo is working on a production witness in Go. In the future, we would like multiple independent implementations so this is still worthwhile to circle back to. Similarly, getting this (prototype) witnessing working with the latest specs is also worthwhile.
