We will make status-quo release of:

• stprov
• stmgr
• stboot

Once we have those released individually, we will release:

• docs.sto

Which uses the released st components.

What it means to release is described in an open proposal, expected to be decided on the next weekly (2023-11-06).

Once everything is released, we will reflect about the (very basic) release process and improve the part we like the least.

If we're able to make the specified deadline (soft, view it as a carrot), rgdd and ln5 will be able to show-case this in-person to an early adopter. If we don't make it all the way down to docs.sto, that's fine and if we can at least show-case that some release of, e.g., stprov happened and more is to follow -> that's much better than nothing.

The main driver to ensure this moves forward: rgdd, who will need help from jens and philipp. See issues, assign rgdd as reviewer.

EDIT 2024-01-12: closing and unattaching system-transparency/project/documentation#29 (closed) which has some ideas for future improvements to the release process. We still intent to do an improvement to the release process now, but this milestone is not helpful for coordination anymore.
